    Job Title: Avionics Technician

    Job Description

    As an Avionics Technician, you will perform inspections, repairs, service, and modifications to the helicopters' electrical systems. You will service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems, including communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control systems. Additionally, you will handle AC and DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems, and aircraft batteries. The position requires the ability to work overtime and travel as needed, as well as perform other duties and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform inspections, repairs, service, and modifications to helicopter electrical systems.

    + Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems for communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control.

    + Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems, and aircraft batteries.

    + Work overtime and travel as needed.

    + Perform other duties and fulfill responsibilities as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of avionics or helicopter avionics troubleshooting and repair experience.

    + Ability to use and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications.

    + Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation/aircraft.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A&P Licenses are strongly preferred.

    + FAA Sign off’s OR A OR P License holders are also considered.

    Work at an FAA Part 145 Completions & Repair Facility, focusing on AW139, A119, and A109 aircrafts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
