Job Description
As a Control Panel Technician, you will accurately and safely assemble electromechanical assemblies, adhering to detailed drawings, written, or verbal instructions. You will perform inspections and tests on subassemblies, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
+ Read and understand bill of material structure, addressing any discrepancies with appropriate personnel.
+ Visually inspect components for flaws or damage and report issues.
+ Assist with packaging finished goods, material handling, warehouse cleanup, and organization.
+ Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment, including participation in the 5S program.
+ Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
+ Communicate ideas and facts professionally to stakeholders.
+ Perform repetitive tasks and sit or stand for extended periods.
+ Show manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately.
+ Upload component firmware following written instructions.
+ Adhere to the redline process for documenting as-built changes.
+ Maintain accurate project material accounting and report discrepancies.
+ Rework or repair equipment and products as needed.
+ Develop work instructions, including writing simple instructions or assembly notes.
+ Use advanced tooling and test equipment safely.
+ Develop tools or jigs to aid in assembly processes.
+ Operate and maintain test fixtures and devices.
+ Perform field service as required.
+ Navigate 3D CAD/e-drawings to assist assembly.
+ Conduct full system cold checks using schematics.
+ Complete high-voltage electrical safety training for hot checks on new systems.
+ Demonstrate advanced proficiency in wiring UL 508A electrical panels.
+ Build cables and wire harnesses conforming to IPC 620 standards.
+ Assemble 24V safety circuits with proficiency.
+ Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities.
+ Troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies effectively.
+ Lead first article projects as assigned.
+ Uphold values, ethics, and commitments to quality and safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of assembly or building experience
+ Ability to use hand and power tools
+ Ability to read blueprints/schematics
+ Capable of lifting 40 lbs regularly
+ Testing electrical continuity using a voltmeter

Work Environment
Work in a large warehouse/production/manufacturing facility. Currently, work stations are under construction, but you will utilize individual work stations with hand and power tools to assemble mechanical components.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TUALATIN, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $31.00/hr.
