Job Title: Janitor

Job Description

As a Janitor, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of various facilities, including restrooms, floors, walls, hallways, stock rooms, elevators, cafeterias, break rooms, clean room laboratories, baseboards, and windows. You will be expected to clean every corner of the building, with duties ranging from mopping floors, taking out the trash, cleaning windows, to sweeping and restroom maintenance.

Responsibilities

+ Perform cleaning duties around office areas while maintaining a professional demeanor.

+ Conduct floor care using push mops and vacuuming.

+ Clean stainless steel surfaces.

+ Sweep with a broom and mop.

+ Clean and restock restrooms.

+ Clean or restock break/lunch rooms.

+ Remove trash from facilities.

+ Wash windows.

+ Perform some maintenance or repair work on facilities or grounds.

Essential Skills

+ Cleaning

+ Housekeeping

+ General labor

+ Janitorial

+ 1 year of cleaning experience

+ Ability to read, write, and speak basic English for log entries and daily documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Any cleaning experience as a housekeeper or custodian/Janitor is beneficial, though not required.

+ Willingness to submit to DT and BG screening.

+ Bilingual capabilities are accommodated.

Work Environment

Janitors will work inside a professional facility that includes offices, cafeterias, and stockrooms. The work schedule is from Sunday through Thursday, 6 pm to 2:30 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
