    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting systems and processes related to o9 planning systems.This position will work primarily on supporting business process, integrations and systems as it relates to o9 tools and technologies.In addition, the incumbent would be assisting with support, maintenance, configuration and upgrades as it relates to those technologies. Finally, we are looking for an individual with a desire to focus on understanding business processes related to supply chain planning. The person in this position:

    + Configures and develops solutions within o9 applications as assigned by more experienced team members. This is inclusive of creating technical process flows and requirements documents that may be assigned to other development team members for execution (i.e. Integrations Team, Reporting Team).

    + Tests and verifies completed configuration and development meet specifications.

    + Works with other development analysts through iterations of development to gain acceptance and approval of testing before migrating to Production environment.

    + Troubleshooting issues with existing processes and programs and working with business to resolve, test and migrate fixes to Production environment.

    + Off hours and on-call support required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required

    + Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related area.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Experience managing tasks and working cross functionally with peers to achieve project goals.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    + Tested problem-solving and decision-making skills.

    + Strong pattern of initiative.

    + Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.

    + Proven ability to learn different business processes and technologies.

    + 1+ year experience with reading and writing SQL and/or PL/SQL.

    + 1+ year experience with web development technologies.

    + Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

    Preferred

    + 1+ year experience with reading and writing Python.

    + Knowledge of supply chain, demand planning, S&OP, or financial planning processes.

    + Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within o9.

    **LOCATION:** Corporate Office, Austin MN

    A comprehensive relocation package to the Austin, MN area will be offered if needed.

    **TRAVEL:** 10% of the time

     

    At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Procurement Senior Buyer role is between **$64,425 - $104,055** per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
