    In this role you will Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Participate in continuous improvement activities.

    + Support the Solstice Operating System.

    + Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness.

    + Comply with all safety rules. Attention to detail is paramount.

    + Adhere to all site-specific regulations related to lock-out tag-out procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to relevant EPA and OSHA regulations.

    + Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on facility systems and infrastructure.

    + Excellent pipe fitting skills are imperative. Ability to operate a power threader/cutter.

    + Knowledgeable in rigging equipment and safe rigging practices.

    + Excellent fabrication skills including stick, MiG, and Tig welding. Ability to cut and form basic metal items.

    + Knowledgeable in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic or hydraulic systems and their components.

    + Ability to accurately measure project and component dimensions, interpret P&ID prints and symbols.

    + Ability to operate and interpret measuring devices such as: calipers, micrometers, thread gauges.

    + Skilled at rebuilding and installing a large variety of pumps.

    + Experienced in repairing and rebuilding gear boxes, chains, belts, pulleys, bearings, and other rotary components.

    + Skilled in operating machining equipment such as: drill press, lathes, vertical mill, shear, brake, and various saws.

    + Ability to perform carpentry work on structures, floors, walls, ceilings, and follow assembly instructions.

    + Ability to work safely from heights, use of ladders, operating a scissor lift or aerial boom lift.

    + Experienced in basic computer skills such as E-mail, locating documents, online training.

    + Inspect and replace site air and water filters.

    + Complete light assembly including office furniture and lab equipment.

    + Snow removal when needed.

    + May need to perform other tasks as needed.

    + Able to walk, stand, bend, kneel.

    + Walking and standing frequently.

    + Working above shoulder height occasionally.

    + Working below knees occasionally.

    + Standing bent forward, squatting and/or kneeling occasionally.

    + Able to lift to 35lbs.

    **Day shift hours 6:00-2:30pm, to change as needed. Winter hours may start at 4am to address snow removal. Overtime will be required as necessary, along with some weekends.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments

    + Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions

    + Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring that equipment is restored to optimal working condition

    + Follow preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory

    + Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations

    + Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment

    + Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

    Qualifications

    You Must have:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 6 months of motorized lift experience.

    + Good communication skills both verbal and written.

    + Technical Degree and/or Journeyman card or papers is preferred.

    + 5 years of industrial maintenance work experience required; chemical plant experience preferred.
