What You Can Expect
Responsible for developing the training and implementation process for deploying six-sigma, problem solving processes, SPC and process control, and basic quality tools at Zimmer supplier partners. This position is responsible for managing and tracking supplier specific deployment projects, creating and modifying Supplier Development procedures, and conducting kick-off and site activities with the suppliers in order to maximize deployment effectiveness. This position will be responsible for performing initial gap assessments at target suppliers to determine individual supplier development plans. This position will be responsible to work with the remainder of the supplier development team to coordinate their time at the suppliers to maximize the training and deployment process as well as mentor junior Supplier Development Engineers who participate in the program. The position may be called on to assist with training deployment of non-quality modules as required by program timing.

What Makes You Stand Out
Expected areas of Competence:
+ Demonstrates a training level mastery of statistics, SPC, and process control methodologies
+ Demonstrates advanced problem solving skills through the use of quality and statistical tools
+ Demonstrates a training level mastery of Quality tools such as control plans, risk analysis, gage calibration and gage studies, advanced quality planning, and process validation.
+ Demonstrated success in defining project goals and objectives as well as tracking and reporting out progress against defined goals to project stakeholders
+ Demonstrated the ability to develop, track, and justify financial metrics surrounding improvement projects
+ Demonstrated the ability to develop / refine training material for maximum effectiveness
+ Must possess effective facilitator, instructor, and mentoring skills
+ Demonstrates ownership of and ability to lead multiple projects with a broad scope and high level of complexity and able to prioritize and complete work in a timely manner and within budget
+ Demonstrates the ability to lead POS (Plant Operating System) audits and create effective gap closure plans
+ Has a working knowledge of lean philosophies, production processes, and effective change control
+ Must have demonstrated a history of strong performance, including leadership abilities, and excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
Your Background
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
+ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with multiple project experience.
