Job Title: Human Resources Analyst
Job Description
This temporary role as an Hourly Personnel Coordinator involves supporting the Manager of Employee Relations. The position focuses on coordinating and managing transactions for hourly employees, ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate hourly transactions and track manpower planning using an internal database.
+ Input transactions for hourly records promptly and ensure audit compliance.
+ Create and maintain personnel records, ensuring they comply with audit standards.
+ Support the HR team at the Chicago Assembly Plant.
+ Assist with the recruitment and hiring of hourly personnel as needed.
+ Onboard new hire employees, creating personnel jackets and profiles.
+ Support manpower planning processes, including hiring, layoffs, and unemployment management.
+ Handle requests and inquiries from legal and retirement divisions.
+ Foster an inclusive work environment and culture, balancing employee advocacy with company goals and values.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, including VLOOKUP formulas and pivot tables.
+ Experience working with large amounts of data and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment with daily interactions with union staff, hourly employees, and leadership.
+ Experience with Oracle's Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.36 - $36.36/hr.
