    Job Description

    The IT Data Science & Engineering Lead will be responsible for contributing to major projects encompassing a wide array of systems by providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance; works in close collaboration with customers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and team members to gather business requirements and lead the analysis and design of robust technical solutions that align with business objectives, IT strategies, and architectural standards; oversees responsibilities spanning data science, machine learning, data engineering pipelines, data modeling, and analytics, while resolving complex support issues, dedicating no more than 20% of time to support activities.

    Skills/Qualifications

    Required:

    + Minimum 6 years of experience with programming languages like SQL, Python and R.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in building and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications, with the ability to build production data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture.

    + Minimum 4 years of experience working with large databases to perform complex analysis

    + Minimum 4 years of combined experience working in statistics and multivariate analytical techniques including multivariate regression, logistic regression, cluster analysis, design of experiments, machine learning, and decision trees

    + Minimum 4 years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Code repositories like Gitlab, GitHub, etc. and deployment tools like Cloud Build or Gitlab Runners

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology, including: Reporting, Data Analytics and building data pipelines

    + Minimum 3 years of experience working in HANA XSA Environment and building SAC Dashboards

    + Experience in any cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS, etc. with preference to GCP

    + Experience in Vertex AI, Big Query, Cloud Composer, Cloud Pub/Sub, PySpark, Cloud Dataproc, Terraform

    + Experience in the development of technical environments, including the design and architecture of SAP systems

    Preferred:

    + Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes

    + Experience in medallion architecture with Google Cortex framework

     

    Experience need not be cumulative; all experience may have been gained concurrently.
