Job Title: Program CoordinatorDepartment: Pulmonary Location: Joseph C Wilson Multicultural Medical Building Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: M-F 8a-430p SUMMARY:As a Program Coordinator, your superior project management and organizational skills lead to departmental success and accomplishment of targeted goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Program Management. Develop and recommend new or revised program goals; monitor program expenditures and ensure budget allocation is not overspent; coordinate program activities to inter-relate to other programs or departments to ensure optimum efficiency; complete materials for recruitment/hiring, the development of team members and promotional content
+ Monitor & Advise. Coordinate and supervise the activities of team members; advise team members on problem solving assistance, answer questions and interpret policy
+ Evaluation. Evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods; develop evaluation methods and analyze results
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
For respiratory therapy:
+ Registered Respiratory Therapist w/RRT credential, with NYS licensure.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills highly desired.
+ Bachelor’s degree in field related to assigned area preferred.
+ Demonstrated project and people management ability highly desired.
+ Experience in administrative / coordinator capacity preferred.
+ One year supervisory experience preferred.Clinical Laboratory Technology Program:
+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
+ 1 year of administrative support; preferably within academic admissions.For respiratory therapy:
+ Two years of rehab experience preferred.

S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE:
$62,400.00 - $70,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
