    Address: 1 Hospital Drive, Massena, NY Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: variable 8 hour shifts; 7a-3p , 3p-11p and 11p-7a Sign-On Bonus: n/a SUMMARY and RESPONSIBILITIES:Cleans assigned areas such as patient rooms, treatment rooms, isolation rooms, Delivery Suites, and other areas as assigned, using seven-step cleaning method as well as proper dilution methods for assigned chemicals and products. Private rooms should be cleaned in a minimum of 13 minutes. Previous cleaning experience is desirable.Ability to utilize common housekeeping equipment, including mechanical equipment, such as brooms, mops, vacuum machines, scouring pads, dust rags, washing machines, dryers, etc. required.Good manual dexterity required.Ability to move furniture and equipment as needed.Good interpersonal skills required to interact with co-workers, visitors, and other hospital staff.Transports and moves furniture, heavy equipment, supplies. Changes window drapes, mattresses, etc. May set-up and clean meeting rooms, etc. Moves equipment, such as beds, furniture and turns mattresses.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

    PAY RANGE:

    $16.17 - $20.95

     

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
