Fire Alarm Installer – TEKsystemsLocation

Nashville, TN (with regional travel as required)

Job Summary

TEKsystems is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Fire Alarm Installers. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in the electrical or low-voltage field. You’ll receive hands-on training and work alongside experienced technicians to install and maintain fire alarm systems that help keep people safe.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist with installing fire alarm systems including panels, detectors, and notification devices

+ Learn to read and follow basic blueprints and wiring diagrams

+ Support senior technicians with system testing and troubleshooting

+ Help maintain tools, equipment, and job site organization

+ Document work performed and follow safety procedures

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Interest in electrical, construction, or technology-related work

+ Willingness to learn and follow instructions

+ Ability to use basic hand tools safely

+ Strong work ethic and reliability

+ Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

Preferred (Not Required) Skills

+ Previous experience in construction, electrical, or low-voltage work

+ Familiarity with fire alarm systems or building safety codes

+ Desire to grow into advanced roles with certifications such as NICET

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
