This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Candidates may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university. *Job Opening:* The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for Visitor Cetner Guide Development Intern, Quabbin Visitor Center (Unpaid Internship). Dates 1-20-26 to 4-3-26. This position will be staffing the Quabbin Visitor Center on weekends and one week- day. Duties: -Staff the Quabbin Visitor Center. -Provide information and education to visitors and groups. -Answer phones and emails. -Provide administrative support to the Quabbin Visitor Center staff.* * * *Preferred Qualifications: -· An understanding of basic interpretive skills -Comfortable speaking with the public and explaining the concepts of watershed management, the history of the Quabbin Reservoir and wildlife/natural habitat. -Comfortable responding to public inquiries by phone and email. -Interested in learning and curious about the world.* * First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days.
