Job Title: Construction Inspector

Our client is hiring entry-level OSP Field Inspectors to support fiber optic build projects in Columbus.

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to break into the construction or telecommunications industry. You’ll receive guidance and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

What You’ll Do:

+ Travel to active construction sites to observe and document progress

+ Take notes and photos of fiber optic builds and report findings to the office team

+ Work closely with construction crews and learn how fiber networks are built

+ Use a tablet to record data and follow instructions from project managers

+ Help ensure projects stay on track and meet quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

+ 1+ year of experience in any construction-related role (landscaping, general labor, etc. counts!)

+ Interest in learning about fiber optics, telecom, and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure

+ Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for documentation

+ Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites

Nice to Have:

+ Degree or coursework in Construction Management or related field

+ Previous exposure to fiber, coax, or cable work

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
