    Our client, a leading manufacturer in the cosmetics and personal care industry, is seeking skilled Compounders to join their production team in Roanoke County, VA. The Compounder plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate preparation and mixing of raw materials to produce high-quality liquid products that meet all specifications and safety standards.

    **Pay:** $20/hr + shift differential ($0.75 for 2nd shift, $1.00 for 3rd shift)

    Shifts:

    + **2nd Shift:** Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

    + **3rd Shift:** Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

    **Terms:** Contract to Hire

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accurately weigh and mix raw materials according to established formulas and batch sheets.

    + Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain consistency and quality.

    + Perform equipment setup, operation, and calibration for each production run.

    + Conduct in-process quality checks to verify product integrity and compliance with specifications.

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, following all cGMP and safety procedures.

    + Record production data and batch information accurately for traceability and compliance.

    + Assist with inventory control for raw materials and finished products.

    + Perform standard cleaning and sanitation of equipment per work instructions.

    + Support and help train new Compounders as needed.

    + Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Coursework or certification in Chemical Technology or a related field preferred.

    Experience:

    + 1–3 years of experience in compounding, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing preferred.

    + Prior experience in a production or batch processing environment is highly desirable.

    Skills & Abilities

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation.

    + Excellent time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

    + Solid understanding of safety standards and quality control procedures.

    + Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

    + Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, scales, and mixing systems.

    + Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
