Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e., growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
+ Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
+ Experience in developing and launching marketing campaigns or resources focused on literacy, education, or technology adoption (e.g., AI Literacy resources, innovative learning tools).
+ Experience in Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, or a related field with a focus on K-12 audiences (students, educators or educators leaders).
Preferred qualifications:
+ Ability to work collaboratively across highly matrixed teams in a global organization and across Google.
+ Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach.
+ Demonstrated passion for AI and its capabilities.
+ Independent, comfortable with ambiguity, and can direct their projects in an unstructured environment.
+ Creative problem solver who can seamlessly go from strategy, ideation, to execution.
About the job
As a Brand Marketing Manager on the Students and Learning Marketing team, you will help amplify the overall cross-Google Learning narrative. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive a cross-company strategy focused on empowering K12 learners and educators to benefit from AI. You’ll drive engagement with students and teachers through bringing to market AI Literacy resources and innovative AI Learning tools. Through driving cohesive marketing plans centered on key education-related cultural moments, you’ll drive broad awareness and trust with these audiences. As a global lead, you’ll build processes and assets that empower regional teams to scale programming and accompanying narratives in their local markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
+ Own the end-to-end student + teacher-focused marketing strategy for Google’s AI Literacy programs and experimental AI Learning tools, from foundational messaging to robust Go-to-Market (GTM) planning and execution for all program/product launches and key moments.
+ Contribute to high-impact thought leadership and amplification toolkits tailored for policymakers, educational leaders and industry influencers, including bespoke talking points, compelling demos, valuable assets, and strategic event engagements to maximize our influence and impact in AI Literacy and Learning.
+ Lead market research and competitive analysis to deeply understand user needs, identify emerging trends, and position Google's AI Literacy and Learning approach as a clear differentiator and leader in the educational landscape.
+ Define, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for programs and campaigns, leveraging data to inform ongoing strategy optimization. Demonstrate measurable impact on brand perception and user engagement.
