What You’ll Build
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Program Manager
Expected Start Date to End Date: Jan 2026 to June 2026
Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week (full-time internship)
The West Program Manager Intern will be at the center of the West Market Unit activity, including Sales, Services and Partners. They will serve as an extension of the General Manager and Chief Business Officer, with direct access to regional leadership.
Strategic Support:
+ Advisory Role: Supporting senior managers in providing insights and recommendations on strategic decisions.
+ Project Management: Oversee and manage high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
+ Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Administrative Support:
+ Calendar Management: Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for visiting executives to the region. Align key meetings with important sales pursuits to ensure timely presence from local, regional and global SAP executives.
+ Document Preparation: Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
+ Social Presence: Assist with creative and relevant Social Media posts to amplify the work of the West Market Unit.
Operational Efficiency:
+ Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Meeting Coordination: Organize and facilitate executive meetings, including preparing agendas and follow-up actions. This includes All Hands Calls, events, QBRs, Leadership Meetings, etc.
Leadership and Team Support:
+ Team Coordination: Coordinate with various departments and teams to ensure alignment with executive priorities.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
+ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Communication, or other related background
+ Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
+ Tempe, AZ or surrounding area based
+ Has relevant business experience within the software/tech industry would be an advantage
+ Strategic and quick thinker who thrives in intense working situations with tight deadlines and very high-quality standards; action-oriented
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and spoken); able to give and command respect; strong team player
+ Very high-trust individual; ability in handling highly confidential information
+ The ideal candidate has a keen business acumen and understanding of the complexity of the operational foundations in large corporations, including the management of complex customer and partner relationships. Experience in sales, marketing, business development or product-related functions is desirable
+ Very strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to achieve win-win scenarios for partners, customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator with strong empathy and the ability to motivate and influence individuals beyond his/her direct field of control. This requires strong facilitation and consulting skills, and the ability to stay neutral and calm in challenging circumstances
+ Strong organizational and project management skills to keep track and follow up on a lot of different threads simultaneously
+ Desire to grow career in the West Market Unit post Internship, ideally in Sales, Presales or Consulting

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
