Table Games Floorperson Arizona Charlie’s Decatur (Las Vegas, NV)
Description:
Summary: The table games floorperson supervises the casino pit during the shift, including pit activity and dealers. Assigns stations and duties for dealing staff and ensures that policies and procedures are adhered to. Provides superior guest service at all times.
Essential Functions:
+ Supervises all casino operations including the supervision, counseling and direction of all dealers on shift
+ Knows and complies with all departmental policies and service procedures and standards and gaming regulations as pertaining to table games operations
+ Anticipates guests’ needs and acknowledges and responds promptly to any and all requests
+ Resolves guest complaints and ensures guest satisfaction
+ Assigns dealing stations and duties
+ Tracks guest play and monitors department inventory including cards, dice, etc.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
+ Advises manager of any personnel or operational issues including large pay-outs/buy-ins, variances and basic strategy deviation
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ At least 21 years of age
+ One to three years of casino supervisory experience is required
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
+ Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one as well as in a group setting
+ Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to handle situations where only limited standardizations may exist
+ Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and personnel information and pertinent hotel data
+ Knowledge of Table View, computer tracking systems, CMS and Microsoft Office is preferred
+ Knowledge of all aspects of casino gaming and Title 31

Physical Requirements
+ Ability to work under variable indoor temperatures and around fumes or odor hazards
+ Walk, stand or stoop more than 75% of the time
+ Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling bending, kneeling less than 25% of the time
+ Regularly work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
+ Vision, hearing, speaking and literacy (critical)
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and distinguish between shades of color
+ Ability to communicate using the telephone
+ Work inside in loud, noisy, smoky environment that is either hot or cold
