CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect - AWS Cloud position for our client in Atlanta, GA.

**Duration:** 12 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance applications on AWS cloud.

+ Collaborate with business and technology teams to define architectural solutions for capital markets and risk management applications.

+ Ensure application architecture aligns with enterprise standards, cloud best practices, and security requirements.

+ Lead the integration of REST APIs and microservices to support complex financial workflows.

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on cloud architecture, best practices, and design patterns.

Skills:

+ Strong expertise in Python and Java development.

+ Solid understanding of capital markets (Fixed Income, Derivatives) and risk management (Market risk, Credit risk) concepts.

+ Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, specifically AWS.

+ Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

+ Familiarity with risk engines or pricing models is a plus.

Experience:

+ 10+ years of professional experience in software development and application architecture.

+ Hands-on experience in capital markets or financial services technology environments.

+ Proven experience in designing cloud-based solutions and implementing complex integrations.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
