Job Description Summary:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technology projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role supports the delivery of IT solutions that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance and will have a primary focus on project management within the Clinical Portfolio. The Clinical Portfolio consists of the Service Lines within the Clinical Enterprise as well as Nursing, however project management assignments will be determined based upon the priorities of the system.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Manage medium to large-scale IT projects such as system upgrades, application rollouts, and departmental technology initiatives.
Lead internal resources and third-party vendors in project execution.
Track project performance and report on milestones, identify and drive plans to resolve risks and issues.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and ensure clear communication of project goals.
Support change management and training efforts.
Ensure adherence to healthcare IT standards and data privacy regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Additional Job Description:
+ degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
+ PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
+ 3–5 years of IT project management experience, ideally in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of the Acute Care space and/or Ambulatory Care setting.
+ Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and regulatory requirements.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
Demonstrated experiential proficiency with project technologies, markets and products Prefer multiple project management experience or large, complex single project experience. Professional experience in IT and healthcare
