    Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Dracut, MA who is currently seeking a Long Term Sub School Aide to work with students on a contractual basis.

    Details of the Position Include:

    + Pay Rate: $27.00/hour

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Duration: until Jan 30th but potential for the rest of the school year

    + Schedule: Monday– Friday, 8:20 AM – 2:30 PM

    + Requirements:

    + Autism experience required

    + School-based experience

    + ABA experience preferred

    + Description:

     

    LTS Special Education paraprofessionals needed at Elementary School.

    The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent required

    + Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
