    Special Education Teacher | $51–$55/hr | Rifle, CO | Full-Time | K–12 | 36 Weeks

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Special Education Teachers for Garfield School District in Rifle, CO. These positions begin ASAP and run through the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year.

    Position Details

    + Location: Rifle, CO

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–4:00pm (37.5 hrs/week)

    + Pay Rate: $51–$55/hr (local)

    + Modality: In-person only

    + Grade Level: K–12

    + Contract Length: 36 weeks

    Requirements

    + Valid Colorado teaching certificate (Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education)

    + LBS1 endorsement preferred

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + CPR, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Minimum age: 18
