We’re looking for anAdministrative Coordinator 3to serve as the first point of contact at the agency, creating a welcoming environment for clients, and visitors and providing administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly.

About this position: This vacancy will be filled as job appointment
+ A job appointment is a temporary job lasting up to four years; however, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probationary appointment.
+ This position may also be filled as a probational appointment if a non-temporary position becomes available in the recruitment process.
+ If filled by probation, a permanent classified LA State employee, if selected, may be required to accept a probational appointment
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties:
As an Administrative Coordinator, you'll help create a positive first impression for every person who walks through our doors. In this role, you will:
Receives information/data submitted by security/industry personnel; reviews, analyzes and verifies credentials and authenticity of information submitted.

+ A job appointment is a temporary job lasting up to four years; however, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probationary appointment.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
