    We have an Excellent career opportunity for aSenior Process Engineerto join a leading Company located inSalt Lake City, UT.

     

    Reporting to the Principal Advisor Process Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our technology. You will translate column and other test data process flowsheets and process design criteria, providing the critical process engineering building blocks of our Technology Packages , ensuring that they are successfully integrated into the design, construction, and operation of new plants.

    Responsibilities :

    + Collaborating with the Column Test Team to analyze and review column and other test data from test work conducted on partner ore samples.

    + Translating these data into accurate and fit-for-purpose process flowsheets and design criteria for the various project stages.

    + Working closely with the Technology Transfer team, optimize and develop the technology by guiding, reviewing, and validating engineering designs to ensure their technical feasibility.

    + Ensure design integrity by monitoring project and operational phases while ensuring that technical designs align with set objectives and are executed as planned.

    + Support operational readiness by creating technical manuals, training programs, and other resources to ensure seamless transition to operations.

    + Provide technical expertise while providing on-site support for commissioning, start-up, performance guarantee testing, and troubleshooting.

    + Safeguard intellectual property to ensure our proprietary information is handled in compliance with commercial and technology agreements.

    Basic Hiring Criteria :

    + Bachelor's degree in Process or Chemical Engineering (a master's degree is preferred).

    + Minimum 5 years in process design, operations, and/or design office/consulting engineering roles, with expertise in processing facilities.

    + A proven safety-first mindset to personal and team safety.

    + Experience with developing mass and energy balance models, complex process flowsheets, and flow diagrams

    + The ability to critically review project documentation and ensure process design continuity across all project phases, including engineering, procurement, commissioning, and operations.

    + Experience in evaluating processes and other technical risks, proactively identifying and mitigating technical and technology-related risks throughout project phases.

    + Proven stakeholder engagement with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse teams and global stakeholders.

    + Negotiation and communication abilities to influence and communicate effectively across functions and levels.

    + An analytical mindset with experience in process simulation tools, with a keen approach to problem-solving.

    + A structured mindset and desire to work in a well-controlled, process-oriented environment.
