You will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager and you’ll work at our Plymouth, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule. (Other allowed Honeywell Aerospace Technology sites can be Clearwater, FL or Deer Valley, AZ)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Work with IC Design EDA Applications, High Performance Compute cluster staff, and IC Design engineers to craft and maintain optimized EDA CAD flows for a highly heterogeneous set of IC compute tasks (e.g., S-EDA OPC jobs, Cadence Spectre SPICE simulations, Synopsys-based static timing analyses).
+ Construct application slurm flows to maximize batch-job license use-efficiency and equitable sharing against multiple simultaneous users.
+ Interface with IC Design staff to comprehend their compute jobs, applications and needs. Work implementation details with HPC personnel to achieve capabilities and optimizations.
+ Define and manage project goals, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with ICD team needs and broader business strategies.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
+ 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor engineering field
+ US Security clearance in good standing, or no known barriers to achieve clearance.
+ Mastery of experience in semiconductor electronic design automation (EDA) software design-enablement
+ Proven capability to execute IC design enablement in at least one of the major EDA supplier’s applications platforms (Cadence, Synopsys or Siemens-EDA)
+ Understand and specify cohesive interactions of EDA applications and compute hardware resource needs (e.g., CPU threads, memory depth)
+ Knowledge of IC Design platform needs spanning IC Design cell development, macrocell development, ASIC design systems, physical verification and mask-CAD flows.

The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $170,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
