    Purpose:

    The Director, ITCI Portfolio Strategy Operations & Commercial Insights will support the Neuroscience Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) team and report to the Senior Director - Global Commercial Insights, Strategy Operations Leader. Primary responsibilities include leading all strategy operations activities for CAPLYTA® and ITI-1284. This individual will play a key role in co-creating our global commercial strategies for our ITCI portfolio and will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating our commercial activities and collaborations across regional and global functional partners. The Director, ITCI Portfolio Strategy Operations & Commercial Insights role will work on key strategic projects across the portfolio of ITCI assets and have a broad view of potential opportunities for growth. This individual will have opportunities to interface with both functional and therapeutic area leadership in advancing and delivering on our commercial strategies.

    You will be responsible for:

    1. ITCI Portfolio Strategy Operations:

    • Support and enable the end-to-end strategy for the Intracellular portfolio strategy and collaborate across the cross functional teams to drive and operate best-in-class global strategy development processes and governance.

    • Drive key internal processes and maximize coordination throughout GCSO functions. Enhance connectivity and alignment with regions/functions

    • Ensure consistent standards and practices for key commercial deliverables. Work across key partners to build efficient, pragmatic governance and ways of working for ITCI portfolio.

    • Drive executional excellence across ITCI portfolio in GCSO Neuroscience.

    • Lead coordination and delivery of key GCSO strategic commercial and operational deliverables including BP, LRFP, WWSAP, Global Dashboards, post-acquisition requirements, special projects, etc.

    • Effectively navigate the J&J network, leverage relationships and credibility to advocate for ITCI portfolio and influence key stakeholders and decision makers through organization.

    • Identify and recommend new opportunities and ideas that can further drive portfolio value and global patient impact across ITCI portfolio.

    • Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic KPI tracking (performance, launch) for CAPLYTA®

    2. ITCI Portfolio Commercial Insights:

    • Function as “player-coach” for commercial insights function lead/coordinate all commercial insights activities across ITCI portfolio of assets.

    • Lead the synthesis of global commercial insights across ITCI portfolio of programs and identify groundbreaking strategies to continue evolving growth.

    • Enhance insights and analytics capabilities that support key strategic global commercial processes (strategy development – ADP/WWSAP; commercial input to governance processes – IPC/IC; annual budget planning, LRFP, commercial evaluations for BD)

    • Build partnerships and new ways of collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver fit for purpose insights and analytics.

    • Ensure consistency in implementation of key processes across commercial insights and analytics functions.

    • Due to the nature of the work, the ability to think analytically and lead through complexity, develop insight-based market assumptions that include an understanding of global market dynamics, and translating key business questions into clear deliverables will be necessary.

    • Lead early and late development forecasting process for ITCI programs that includes synthesizing insights that inform forecast assumptions, building global patient-based market models, and driving cross-functional forecasting collaboration.

    • Monitoring, collaborating, and communicating commercial insights cross-functionally with other commercial insights teams, finance, medical affairs, regulatory and other key functions.

    • Effectively and persuasively present findings, recommendations to a broad, cross-functional audience, including leadership.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    Education:

    • A bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

    Required:

    • A minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience, including 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience is required.

    • Communication: Advanced communication and presentation skills

    • Strategic analysis, business context & implications: Advanced ability in identifying opportunities, effectively developing business cases and pull through solutions

    • Collaboration: Expertise in creating cross functional teams and business structures to collaboratively solve complex challenges

    • Influencing & Negotiating: Advanced ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization

    • Operational excellence: advanced ability to identify and drive improvement in ways of working, GCI processes, tools, and technology, to enable improved effectiveness or efficiency

    • Prior forecasting & market insights experience is required.

    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.

    • Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, and effectively manage external partners is required.

    • Ability to develop and execute innovative and novel approaches for insight generation when and where appropriate.

    • Curiosity and growth mindset to learn and build/improve skill sets

    • This position requires up to 10% travel.

    Preferred:

    • A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

    • Experience with secondary pharmaceutical data sources and modeling is preferred.

    • Understanding of the product development process (NME declaration through launch) is preferred.

    Other:

    This position is primarily based Raritan, NJ and will require up to 10% domestic and international travel.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $150,000 to $258,750

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
