The Duravant Integrated Solutions team is seeking an experiencedQuality Assurance Engineerwith a strong background in engineering, project controls, and qualification/commissioning planning. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer requirements and specifications are translated into effective qualification and commissioning strategies to support design-and-build initiatives. The successful candidate will lead planning, scheduling, and execution of quality assurance activities to maintain alignment between technical execution, customer expectations, and industry standards. We are looking for detail-oriented professionals who can anticipate risks, drive accountability, and deliver reliable results across all phases of the project lifecycle.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties as assigned
+ Translate customer requirements, design specifications, and regulatory frameworks into formal qualification and commissioning plans.
+ Develop and document test protocols, commissioning checklists, validation plans, and commissioning schedules and results.
+ Serve as the quality representative on a multidisciplinary project execution and implementation team.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional groups including solutions development, sales, mechanical and electrical engineering, project management, installation and commissioning, procurement, and finance to ensure alignment of quality assurance controls throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Monitor quality gates and milestones; proactively identify and mitigate potential risks or non-conformities to both customer and internal standards.
+ Support project documentation, audit readiness, and compliance tracking.
+ Facilitate project postmortems, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes.
+ Provide quality assurance oversight during qualification and testing, including on-site support as needed.
+ Communicate quality assurance and compliance results to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering) or related field.
+ 8–10 years of progressive experience in design assurance, quality engineering, or project controls within design-and-build or new product engineering environments.
+ Demonstrated experience translating customer requirements and specifications into actionable qualification and commissioning plans.
+ Strong knowledge of QA/QC practices, regulatory standards, and change-control procedures.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear documentation and stakeholder engagement.
+ Experience in an ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 certified organization preferred.
+ Professional certifications such as ASQ Quality Manager, Six Sigma, or similar are a plus.

The position is an office-based position with regular visits to the manufacturing area.
