Job Overview
Serves as a temporary introductory role by assisting the organization in a variety of focused tasks. Provides practical experience in IT, allowing interns to translate their academic learning into real-world applications. Interns will be assigned a specific area and aligned with manager or supervisor. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment, supporting day-to-day operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with various IT projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology.
For our IT Intern Program 2026, there are 6 focus areas and we are looking to fill 15-20 positions.
The program is June 1st - August 21st and is full-time, 8hrs per day, Monday-Friday.
The focus areas are below:
+ AI/Automation
+ Business Analyst
+ Application Support
+ Enterprise Architecture
+ Security/Cybersecurity
+ Asset Management
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and user experience.
+ Monitors opened tickets assigned to the Service Desk to verify correct assignment, ensure timely customer follow-up and resolution.
+ Provide 1st and 2nd level end-user remote support.
+ Develop work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and end-user technical documentation relating to the desktop environment.
+ Scope of work varies depending on the Team assignment.
+ Attend department meetings, as needed.
+ Information Technology interns will be assigned to a team within IT based on their skills, experience, interests, as well as current business needs. Areas include but are not limited to applications, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity/Risk Management, Asset Management, Data Analytics.
+ Complete assigned projects while benefiting from healthcare IT experience and close collaboration with knowledgeable professionals and technology leaders.
+ Complete system wide mandatory education relevant to the role.
+ Follow all relevant laws, regulations and policies for the area.
Required Qualifications
+ Enrolled as a full-time or part-time student pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in one of the following: computer science, math, management information systems or business management.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio).
+ Curiosity about challenging the current process and providing suggestions for change.
+ Self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
+ Naturally inquisitive and self-motivated to find solutions
+ Ability to adapt to a changing environment
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to quickly learn new concepts
+ Ability to collaborate
Preferred Qualifications
+ Shown leadership, strong initiative and decision-making skills
+ Previous IT Internship experience
+ Technical skills including software development lifecycle
+ Experience within the healthcare industry

Compensation Disclaimer
This position provides one flat hourly rate, with regular reviews to ensure competitiveness with themarket. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
