    Overview

     

    Data is one of Intuit’s most powerful levers for driving innovation, growth, and customer delight. As Intuit continues to scale its data ecosystem, the ability to define, govern, and activate the right business metrics becomes essential to turning data into impact.

     

    This is a hybrid role that combines data product leadership with strategic metrics ownership. This leader will drive how Intuit defines, measures, and operationalizes success across products and business units - ensuring clarity, consistency, and confidence in every data-driven decision.

     

    They will also lead cross-functional innovation initiatives that strengthen the data foundation, unlock new business opportunities, and embed metric-driven thinking into the company’s culture.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Data Innovation

    + Create and drive aroadmap of strategic data capabilities and processes, with end-to-end ownership.

    + Identify and champion new opportunities to use data as a product - unlocking customer insights, improving targeting, and powering new data-enabled experiences

    + Represent strategic data innovation on operational and leadership teams, influencing how data drives business transformation.

    + Partner with cross-functional team to simplify access to data and insights, accelerating decision-making and operational agility.

    Metrics Strategy & Governance

    + Define the core business, product, and customer metrics that measure success across Intuit’s ecosystem.

    + Establish a metrics governance framework to ensure consistency, transparency, and shared understanding of definitions, lineage, and ownership.

    + Partner with cross-functional team to align on how we look at data to power decision-making

    + Develop systems and tools that make metrics discoverable, durable, and actionable, enabling teams to self-serve insights with confidence

    + Lead the creation of metric documentation and data cataloging, ensuring every team knows what to measure, why it matters, and how to interpret it

    Cross-Functional Partnership

    + Collaborate across engineering, data engineering, product management, and data science teams to ensure metrics are accurately instrumented and maintained in production systems.

    + Drive adoption of consistent measurement frameworks in experimentation, goal setting (OKRs), and performance reviews.

    + Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and business leaders, providing guidance on how best to use metrics and data in pursuit of growth.

    Thought Leadership & Culture

    + Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization

    + Mentor teams on data literacy, metric design, and analytics best practices

    + Inspire others to think critically about how Intuit defines success - fostering a shared language and mindset around measurement.

    Qualifications

    + 10+ years of experience in data product management, analytics, or data strategy, including leadership of large, cross-functional initiatives.

    + Demonstrated success defining and operationalizing core business and product metrics at scale.

    + Deep understanding of modern data ecosystems and the data lifecycle - from instrumentation and transformation to activation and visualization.

    + Proficiency with data and analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, SQL).

    + Strong business acumen and experience translating data insights into strategic and operational impact.

    + Proven ability to influence and drive alignment among senior stakeholders

    + Excellent communicator and storyteller - able to simplify complex data concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.

    + Passion for building scalable, durable data systems and cultivating data-driven cultures.

     

    Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits (https://www.intuit.com/careers/benefits/full-time-employees/) ). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

     

    Bay Area: $191,500-$259,000

    Southern California: $183,000-$247,500
