The Position
As a Clinical Services Project Manager I, you manage multiple clinical and lab services projects of a less complex nature and under general supervision. You will handle projects from initiation through contract completion. Through applying project management skills and cross-functional interactions, you will deliver pharma services projects with high customer satisfaction.
The Opportunity
This job is first in the Clinical Sciences project management job series, comprising four levels. The employee is assigned to projects that may be limited in scope and/or of low to medium complexity. It may involve collaboration with other Clinical Services Project Managers or the Clinical Services Program Manager.
In this role you are:
+ Managing and coordinatingmultiple clinical testing and lab services projects from initiation to contract completion under the guidance of the Program Manager, while acting as the primary point of contact for Pharma clients.
+ Overseeing and implementingtactical coordination of project timelines and plans by developing, organizing, and driving execution of cross-functional activities, while proactively identifying gaps, bottlenecks, or delays and challenging assumptions.
+ Guiding and supervisingday-to-day sample process flow, ensuring accurate reporting of results, and fostering continuous improvement by sharing best practices and knowledge across the clinical sciences team.
+ Leading and managingcross-functional interactions and external collaborations with Contract Research Organizations (CROs), site investigators, and client counterparts to ensure projects are completed within established deadlines.
+ Organizing and facilitatingproject meetings by setting agendas, managing meeting schedules, and preparing detailed meeting minutes to ensure alignment and clarity among stakeholders.
+ Tracking and deliveringcomprehensive project reports and clinical study data to keep Pharma and Roche clients informed and aligned throughout the life cycle of assigned projects.
Who You Are
+ You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
+ You bring 2 years experience of project and/or clinical trial coordinator/management in a regulated, CRO, diagnostic, and/or pharmaceutical industry with regulated documentation. Experience with clinical projects that require rapid activity/milestone achievement.
+ A Master's Degree, or Specific Project Management Training, or Clinical Research training and/or certification is preferred
Preferred behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant.
+ Experience in clinical trial management and knowledge of bio-sample (clinical testing) management andprocess flow.
+ Previous experience with the standard project management process (PMI).
+ Diagnostic and/or Pharmaceutical industry and relevant diagnostic area knowledge.
+ Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrating leadership skills and high data quality
+ Demonstrates expertise in functional areas, with the capability to effectively interface and collaborate with laboratory, scientific, and medical staff.
Relocation benefits are not offerred for this role, since it's a remote position.
The expected salary range for this position based on Tucson is 55,500.00 - 103,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
