Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Order Planning and Fulfillment
+ Order Planning and Coordination:
+ Lead the planning and operations forecasting of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
+ Communicate and hold contract manufacturers accountable for meeting cost, quality, and delivery performance targets through regular performance reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Collaborate with sales, inventory, procurement, and production teams to align on order demand and capacity.
+ Develop and implement strategies for efficient order scheduling and prioritization.
+ Monitor and track order status, identifying potential delays or issues and providing solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
+ Drive transport of shipments across sites
+ Team Leadership and Development:
+ Manage and develop a team of order fulfillment professionals, providing training, performance feedback, and career growth opportunities.
+ Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
+ Set clear performance goals and KPIs for the team and ensure continuous improvement in order processing efficiency and accuracy.
+ Process Optimization and Improvement:
+ Identify opportunities for improving order fulfillment processes, reducing lead times, and increasing overall operational efficiency.
+ Lead initiatives to improve inventory management and reduce stock-outs or overstock situations.
+ Analyze order trends and data to identify and resolve recurring issues or bottlenecks in the fulfillment process.
+ Customer Relationship Management:
+ Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing accurate order updates, resolving issues, and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner.
+ Work closely with customer service and sales teams to resolve any customer complaints or issues related to order fulfillment.
+ Maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
+ Inventory Management:
+ Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet order demands.
+ Implement strategies to minimize inventory discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.
+ Reporting and Analytics:
+ Prepare regular reports on order fulfillment metrics, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
+ Analyze fulfillment data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
+ Provide leadership with actionable insights to drive better decision-making and operational improvements.
+ Collaboration and Communication:
+ Act as a liaison between multiple departments (sales, procurement, warehouse, customer service) to ensure alignment and smooth operation.
+ Communicate regularly with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain from an accredited institution and a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in the Operations or supply chain; minimum ten (10) years in a supervisory or management position
+ Master’s Degree and/or MBA preferred.
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Power Point and ERP systems
+ Time tested candidate with global experience or worked in large global organization with proven track record of performance

_Travel requirement:_
+ Domestic and International travel up to 40%
The estimated salary range for this position is $155,000 to $180,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
