    Job Description

    A client is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Administrator to join their team in Dunwoody, GA.

     

    The ServiceNow Senior Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures the platform is stable, secure, and optimized to support IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and other business solutions. The Senior Administrator partners with process owners, developers, and stakeholders to deliver enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices aligned with enterprise governance standards. Your primary duties and responsibilities may include:

     

    Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

     

    -Platform Administration

     

    -Manage core system configuration, user access, roles, and data security.

     

    -Oversee updates, patches, and upgrades; ensure successful testing and deployment.

     

    -Monitor system health, integrations, and performance metrics.

    -Configuration & Enhancements

    -Configure ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, SPM, HRSD, ITAM) to meet business requirements.

     

    -Create and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and notifications.

     

    -Maintain and optimize Service Catalog items and request workflows.

     

    -Governance & Best Practices

     

    -Enforce coding standards, security guidelines, and change control processes.

     

    -Provide input on platform strategy, roadmap, and architecture decisions.

     

    -Collaboration & Support

     

    -Act as a primary point of contact for ServiceNow platform issues and enhancements.

     

    -Work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to design and deliver new capabilities.

     

    -Provide mentorship to junior administrators and support staff.

     

    Compensation: $50/hour to $60/hour

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.     Skills and Requirements

     

    -Proven experience as a ServiceNow Senior Administrator with a focus on IT Operations and CMDB.

     

    -Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation within ServiceNow.

     

    -Proficient in configuring and managing CMDB, including data import/export, reconciliation, and normalization.

     

    -Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide), web services, and integrations.

     

    -Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

     

    -Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform features, ACLs, MID Servers, integrations, and performance tuning.

     

    -Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and release management.

     

    -Familiarity with JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow Studio.

     

    -Excellent communication and documentation skills.
