    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Commodity Manager for a leader in Aerospace Engineering. This position will be responsible to supplier communication to requesting quotes, negotiating rates, reviewing purchase orders and coordinate incoming supplies. They will understand and perform each step of the purchasing lifecycle. This position will also spent time on the production floor, reviewing production plans with the Production and Engineering teams. This position will require up to 20% travel domestically for roughly 1-3 days each trip.

    •Experience with ERP, Excel, Microsoft Applications

    •Past experience in a client facing role with communication with suppliers

    •2-4 years of Buyer experience

    •Ability to read prints

    •Adaptive and Dynamic mindset with Critical Thinking skills

    •Understand Purchasing Order life Cycle
