Job Description
Our top retail client is seeking a Retail Media Analyst/Strategist for their in-house retail media network, which enables brands to connect with consumers through their retail channels. This position sits within their Media Insights & Data Science team and will be supporting strategic decision-making for their Consumables portfolio, with a focus on health, wellness, and pet segments. This role blends technical analytics with strategic storytelling, requiring strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. This person will work across 5–6 accounts that have $3–7 million in spend, interfacing with 4–5 key sales-side stakeholders to deliver insights and recommendations. They will be responsible for creating dashboards for suppliers and translating data into business strategies that drive campaign optimization.
• Supporting the Health and Wellness pod and miscellaneous segments including pets
• Developing Tableau dashboards to automate reporting and visualize key insights
• Querying and analyzing data using SQL and Google BigQuery
• Translating data insights into strategic narratives for sales teams and clients
• Collaborating across internal teams to deliver actionable recommendations
• Moderating discussions and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Supporting 5-6 accounts with a range of $3-7 million in spend

Skills and Requirements
• 3-5 years of relevant analytical experience in media, marketing analytics, or consumer insights (agency, brand, publisher, or research side)
• Familiarity with media reporting types and campaign performance metrics (CTR, PPC, conversion rate, impressions, reach, CPA, ROAS )
• Proficiency in SQL and Google BigQuery for querying large datasets
• Experience with Tableau for dashboarding and reporting
• Strong presentation and communication skills to bridge technical insights with non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to moderate discussions and collaborate across internal teams
• Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills
• Ability to identify insights, deep dive into data, and translate findings into actionable advertising campaign recommendations • Basic Python knowledge for data manipulation and exploratory analysis
• Experience with retail media platforms (e.g., Lowe’s, Best Buy, Amazon, Petco, Meta)
• Exposure to health and wellness segments
