Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to support one of our customers out of Mexico.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and provide guidance to a backend team of approximately 10 engineers, including offshore resources

• Oversee migration projects, ensuring applications are transitioned effectively

• Work extensively with legacy technologies, leveraging deep knowledge to modernize systems.

• Execute a strategic roadmap to migrate from Oracle to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.

•Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Compensation:

$100,000 to $120,000 MX per month

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

• 5–7+ years of hands-on development experience

• Proven experience as a technical lead or mentor

• Strong people leadership skills with an empathetic approach to team management

• Experience in application architecture and designing scalable solutions.

• Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Oracle databases (preferred).

•Vendor management experience (preferred).
