Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Pattern Development Technician to support the creation and refinement of upholstery patterns for new and existing furniture products while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in pattern development processes. This individual will play a key role in Product Development and Engineering projects by translating technical drawings and design specifications into digitized patterns, prototype markers, and cut files. Acting as a collaborative partner across Product Development, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, the Pattern Development Technician will assist with pilot runs, troubleshoot design issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves supporting Engineering Change Requests related to pattern design and maintaining best practices for cut-and-sew operations.

Skills and Requirements
• Strong understanding of cut-and-sew operations and procedural specifications
• Ability to create and modify digitized patterns and prototype markers
• Experience designing drawings in adobe illustrator or adobe in design
• Proficient in pattern development software
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and engineering change requests • Proficiency in Optitex or strong working knowledge of Optitex software
• Hands-on experience in furniture manufacturing
