About Global Trade at BAE Systems:

Our Global Trade team is responsible for ensuring that our international trade activities comply with relevant laws and regulations. As a Licensing Analyst II, you will have the opportunity to learn about Global Trade and work closely with our Sectors to understand the business and develop a deep understanding of our products and services. This is an entry level position in Global Trade Licensing at our headquarters offices, which reports into the BAE Systems, Inc. Legal Department.
Responsibilities:
+ Apply basic ITAR and EAR regulation concepts to routine licensing scenarios
+ Prepare straightforward license applications with appropriate supervision
+ Process standard export exemptions/exceptions with guidance
+ Prepare and review basic export and import documentation with oversight
+ Track license status and help maintain license history records
+ Maintain accurate compliance records following established procedures
+ Assist with responding to routine compliance inquiries from business teams
+ Support periodic export compliance assessments and audits
+ Begin building knowledge in specific product areas or compliance procedures
+ Apply GT systems and tools effectively while adhering to standard procedures

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., international business, law, or logistics) and 2 years of experience
+ Eager and energetic individual with high acumen and ability to understand, synthesize, and learn quickly and correctly
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work with regular supervision but growing independence
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Detail-oriented and organized with strong attention to accuracy and compliance
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
+ US CITIZEN
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 1-2 years of experience in export compliance, licensing, or a related field
+ Familiarity with ITAR and EAR regulations
+ Experience with export compliance software and systems
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
