    Charter Coordinator – In-Person

    **Location:** 1915 Highway US 90A, Missouri City, TX 77489

    **Wage:** $27.50/hr

    **Hours:** Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM (some weekends required)

    About the Role:

    Join **First Student** , North America’s leading school transportation provider, as a Charter Coordinator. You will manage all outside charter bookings in the region, ensuring each trip is scheduled, staffed, and executed efficiently. This in-person role combines customer service, scheduling, and operational coordination to keep our charter services running smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Quote, book, and assign charters to the correct location/branch.

    + Assist customers with pricing, inquiries, and service follow-up.

    + Coordinate driver assignments in accordance with union seniority rules.

    + Track charter progress and ensure timely pick-up and drop-off.

    + Handle billing and payment collection.

    + Enter charter information into payroll systems (Focus).

    + Communicate updates or changes with dispatchers and locations.

    + Monitor and support budget and operational goals.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + 1–3 years customer service/trip coordination experience.

    + 3–5 years transportation or charter booking experience preferred.

    + Strong computer and communication skills.

    + Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle issues during operations.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to move around the office and operate standard office equipment.

    + Occasional local travel for customer meetings may be required.
