**Job Location** : Altamonte Springs, FL
The role you will contribute:
Responsible for day-to-day administration of the employee relations function for assigned facilities. This position provides consultation on employee relations issues for employees and leadership and conducts employee relations investigations and business analytics, identifying and recommending solutions using discretion and available resources. This role also ensures alignment with the mission and service standards of the organization and exhibits excellent customer service.

+ Conducts investigations into employee relations concerns including harassment, discrimination, workplace misconduct, conflict of interest, retaliation, workplace violence, and policy violations, ensuring investigations are executed with fairness, thoroughness, timeliness, and confidentiality.
+ Provides resolution options in employee relations investigations including corrective actions, performance improvement plans (PIP), and workplace accommodations.
+ Responds effectively and timely to employee relations queries in accordance with established service-level agreement (SLA) guidelines.
+ Analyzes data to identify patterns and trends to proactively recommend employee relations programs and initiatives; provides options and recommends appropriate steps for resolution in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols.
+ Partners with facility human resources and business leaders to implement and administer policies and programs, including Fit for Duty and mandatory Employee Assistance Program (EAP) referrals.
+ Provides training and support to business leaders on policies and procedures related to employee relations.
+ Leads unemployment compensation hearings and provides guidance and support to participating business leaders.
+ Facilitates workplace and religious accommodations.
+ Processes unpaid administrative leave (UAL) as necessary.
+ Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations impacting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
+ Other duties as assigned.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business
3 years of experience as an Associate HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or Employee Relations experience required.
The successful candidate will possess comprehensive proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as a fundamental requirement.
Additionally, experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, with a particular preference for those proficient in Workday, is highly regarded.
A robust understanding and proficiency in managing and navigating the complexities of ADA, FMLA, worker's compensation, and related areas are also preferred.
Furthermore, required competencies include proficiency in disability management, leave management, disability case management, or general human resources disciplines.
A working knowledge of legal issues related to ADA, FMLA, and state leave laws is essential for this role, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and best practices in these domains.
Candidates should demonstrate a capacity to integrate legal guidelines with day-to-day human resources operations, showcasing a blend of technical, regulatory, and interpersonal skills.

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) OR
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
