    **Schedule:** Part-Time 32 hours/week, Monday and Tuesday 7:30a-1:30p, Wednesday 7:30a-2:30p, Thursday 10a-5p, Friday 7:30a-12p, Schedule is based on physician rounding and will vary

    **Location:** 15728 S Route 59, Plainfield, IL (will travel to skilled care facilities in Joliet, Lemont, Minooka and Plainfield)

    The role you'll contribute:

    Assists the physician in providing medical care to patients of various ages according to the policy of individual practice, in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies and procedures. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan, and to all the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Responsible for helping practice and physician achieve all meaningful use measures. Demonstrates effective use and support of the Customer and Superior Service Standards, within the hospital and physician office settings, at all times. Functions under the supervision of the physician and the Practice Manager/Office Supervisor.

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    + Organizes and reviews incoming test results and forwards them to the physician, tracking impending test results and following up with patients as needed.

    + Recognizes and responds to emergencies.

    + Performs tests and prepares specimens for outside lab testing as ordered by the physician.

    + Maintains examination rooms and treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.

    + Manages inventory of clinical supplies, bio-hazardous waste, and sample medications, ensuring proper labeling, disposal, and sterilization of instruments.

    + Prepares and assists patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.

    + Maintains medication and immunization records.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    + Schedules inpatient/outpatient admissions and procedures, providing cross-training and relief for other staff members as needed.

    + Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patients using established guidelines.

    + Will travel with provider to skilled care facilities and keep records of the patient, assist clinical team with managing medical records and order entry

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed** **:

    + High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

    + One or more years of work experience [Preferred]

    + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
