The Opportunity
We’re seeking a visionary Vice President of Data to architect and lead Dynatron’s product data strategy and influencing enterprise data strategy. This role sits at the center of our growth engine, responsible for transforming how data is collected, structured, and leveraged to power AI, analytics, and product excellence at scale.
As VP of Data, you’ll own the strategy, systems, and teams that form the backbone of our data-driven platform. You’ll lead our Data Engineering, Architecture,, and Data Science functions, guiding them toward innovation, precision, and measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do
+ Design and execute a data vision and strategy that positions Dynatron as a leader in data-driven decision-making and automotive intelligence.
+ Lead and scale a world-class organization spanning Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, and Data Science, ensuring excellence across platforms, pipelines, and products.
+ Architect for growth: Oversee the design and evolution of our data ecosystem, from data lakes and real-time streaming to machine learning and AI applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
+ Advance innovation: Champion the integration of next-generation AI and ML technologies to unlock predictive, prescriptive, and generative insights that drive business outcomes.
+ Collaborate across functions: Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure data strategy directly supports company objectives and product differentiation.
+ Drive governance and trust: Establish policies, controls, and frameworks for data quality, compliance, and security across all systems and sources.
+ Measure and optimize: Define and track KPIs for data reliability, accessibility, and business impact, using insights to guide strategic investment and improvement.
+ Inspire excellence: Build and nurture a high-performing, innovative team that thrives on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
+ 15+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, analytics, or data science, including at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
+ Proven track record building and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environments.
+ Deep technical expertise in modern data stacks, including Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Fivetran, Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift, with hands-on understanding of Python, SQL, and data modeling.
+ Demonstrated experience leading AI and machine learning initiatives, including integration of large language models and applied ML systems into production environments.
+ Strong command of data governance, observability, security, and privacy frameworks.
+ Strategic thinker who can balance innovation with execution, driving both vision and measurable results.
+ Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to align executives, engineers, and stakeholders around a shared data vision.
+ Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and building scalable, distributed teams.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Compensation
Base Salary: $230K-$260K
Bonus: 20%
Equity: Participation in Dynatron’s Equity Incentive Plan
