Your Opportunity
As the Washington Water Growth Leader, you will drive the growth of our Water practice in Washington State. You will lead business development, client engagement, and project delivery, working closely with local and regional leaders. This is a high-impact role for a dynamic leader who thrives on building relationships, inspiring teams, and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts, including market research, client relationships, and securing contracts.
- Expand our client base and strengthen existing relationships through strategic account management.
- Guide the pursuit and delivery of major water projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify priorities and opportunities in the Washington market.
- Inspire and motivate teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Support talent development, including hiring, mentoring, and succession planning.
- Uphold Stantec’s reputation through community engagement and thought leadership.
- Ensure operational goals are met and best practices are followed in project management and delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the water sector.
- Experience in project management and technical delivery for municipal or regional infrastructure.
- Strong business development and sales skills for technical professional services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Washington State preferred.

Pay Range:
• Locations in WA, DC & Various CA, MA areas-$190,500.00 - $295,200.00 Annually
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
**Benefits Summary:** Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
