Leidos’ **Defense Systems Rapid Integration and Prototyping Department** is seeking a **Mechanical Design Engineer** to join our team. You will get the opportunity to design and influence important technologies for DoD customers. Primary Responsibilities

+ The successful candidate will be responsible for leading designs and working within multi-discipline teams to develop and execute challenging tasks.

+ The candidate will produce technical data packages including part drawings, assembly drawings, source control documents, and interface control documents per ASME Y14.

Basic Qualifications

+ BS degree in engineering with 4-8 years of experience or Masters degree with 2-6 years of experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

+ 8+ years of applicable experience in design and/or analysis of mechanical systems including technical data package production per ASME Y14.100 & Y14.5.

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

+ 4+ years of leadership experience (teams or projects)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
