    CORPORATE INVESTIGATOR – DRIVE INTEGRITY, STRENGTHEN CULTURE, PROTECT OPERATIONS

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **Corporate Investigator** to support a global leader in the aerospace industry. This is a full-time, 12-month consulting opportunity for a seasoned professional who excels at uncovering facts, assessing risk, ensuring compliance, and guiding organizations toward stronger, more ethical operations.

    In this role, you will lead complex internal investigations into employee misconduct, safeguarding organizational integrity and promoting a culture of accountability. Your work will directly influence risk mitigation, operational improvements, and fairness across the enterprise.

    What You’ll Do

    + Gather and analyze key investigative data including witness statements, electronic data, and physical evidence.

    + Develop investigative plans, outlining scope, resource needs, and specialized tools or forensics requirements.

    + Conduct interviews, assess credibility, and evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

    + Investigate a wide range of workplace, fraud, and compliance matters—including highly sensitive and complex cases.

    + Strengthen anti-retaliation efforts by identifying concerns and reassuring participants of their protections.

    + Collaborate closely with Ethics, HR, Legal, Quality, Safety, and other stakeholders to ensure aligned, thorough investigations.

    + Provide periodic briefings to parties with a need-to-know, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

    + Prepare clear, concise written investigative reports in a standardized format.

    + Offer findings and recommendations to appropriate decision-makers for follow-up action and remediation.

    + Identify trends, contributing factors, and opportunities to reduce future wrongdoing.

    + Mentor and support other investigators to ensure strong, consistent investigative practices.

    + Work in a hybrid environment, with onsite presence required for training, interviews, and time-sensitive needs.

    Required Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience conducting complex investigations, including interviews, evidence collection, data analysis, and report writing.

    + 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

    + Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 3+ years conducting formal employee-related investigations.

    + 3+ years conducting EEO investigations and determining resolutions.

    + 3+ years investigating alleged misconduct involving union-represented employees.

    + Experience with case management systems and forensic investigative tools or software.

    + Certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), LPEC (Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance), or similar.

    Position Details

    + **Location:** Berkeley, MO (Hybrid; minimum 2 days onsite weekly)

    + **Starting Pay Rate:** $59.73 per hour

    + **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7AM–3PM), with occasional 2nd/3rd shift support as needed

    + **Type:** Full-time, 12-month contract
