PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a driven Electronic Tester / Troubleshoot Technician to join our team on 2nd shift, supporting a respected industry leader known for engineering excellence and product reliability.
Shift & Compensation
• **2nd Shift:** Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
• **Training:** First shift for 30–60 days
• **Pay:** $23/hr to start, increases to **$25/hr** when moved to 2nd shift
• **Additional:** $2/hr shift differential upon transition to 2nd shift
Role Summary
In this position, you’ll diagnose, test, and support the production of complex aircraft components. Your technical judgement will play a key role in resolving issues, improving processes, and ensuring high-quality output. What You’ll Do
• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly, testing, and analysis of aircraft electronic components
• Troubleshoot to component level using schematics, established procedures, and industry standards
• Execute manual and automated assembly operations, hand soldering, automated testing, and product inspections
• Identify and resolve assembly issues, offering recommendations for continuous improvement
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain testing and assembly equipment
• Support team members, and occasionally guide or demonstrate methods to new employees
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering teams, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow and accurate documentation
Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong understanding of electronic board assembly processes, quality standards, SMT processing, and soldering specifications
• Ability to interpret schematics and perform component-level troubleshooting
• Proficiency with manual and automated assembly/test equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and documentation control systems
• Ability to perform the physical demands of a manufacturing environment, including manual dexterity, repetitive motions, and lifting as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP experience
• Knowledge of in-circuit and functional test fixturing
• Experience in advanced manufacturing systems
• Ideal for a recent engineering graduate seeking their first professional role
• Open to temp-to-hire or possible direct hire, depending on experience

**Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour
