    Shifts Available:

    + Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Per Diem)

    + Evening Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (24 hours per week, includes every other weekend)

    + Overnight Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am (Per Diem)

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Chase Memorial, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring that their dignity, rights, and individuality are respected. You will be responsible for:

     

    + Delivering personal care: Assist residents with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, colostomy care, and more.

    + Supporting care plans: Collaborate with nursing staff to support residents' individualized care plans and communicate any changes in condition or behavior.

    + Promoting comfort and dignity: Ensure each resident’s comfort, privacy, and dignity are maintained in the delivery of care.

    + Safety & infection control: Adhere to safety and infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment.

    + Monitoring & reporting: Observe residents for changes in physical or mental health and report these changes to the charge nurse or other licensed nursing personnel.

    + Providing emotional support: Interact with residents in a warm and caring manner, fostering a positive, empathetic environment.

    + Assisting with mobility and transportation: Use proper body mechanics to move or lift residents, and assist with transportation to appointments and activities.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Current CNA Certification in New York State (Required)

    + Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with residents, families, and healthcare teams.

    + Attention to detail and the ability to follow care plans and nursing protocols.

    + A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine interest in helping others.
