    Description

    The Senior Intelligence Trainer will provide support for operational intelligence integration and data-centric operations for customers across tactical, joint, interagency, allied, and coalition partners, including Army Service Component Commands (ASCC), Joint Task Force J-2s, and Combatant Commands.

     

    This position is contingent upon award expected summer 2026. Work is to be performed at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

     

    Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training programs or activities to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives. Assignments may include needs analysis, custom course development, development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and evaluation and learning assessments. Where instructing within a certified educational institution, responsible for determining the organization, communication and delivery of the course content and materials, and for developing learning activities and demonstrations. Collaborates with customer or internal functional organization to develop, enhance, and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content. May create course content, training materials, visual aids and documentation to support a variety of instructional formats such as lecture, lab exercises, field training, computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT). May develop exam materials and may be responsible for testing and qualitative evaluation of participant's attainment of learning objectives. Monitors and evaluates training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements as needed. Trainers may also administer training programs to meet student needs, which may require post-training follow up to determine applicability of course material or training approaches.     KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Participates in development of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories. Viewed as expert in field within the corporation. Establishes operational objectives and assignments. Objectives are reviewed by senior management to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies, which affect immediate operation(s) and may have company-wide effect.

     

    PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Participates in development of solutions to problems of unusually complex, which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. Challenges are often unique and solutions may serve precedent for future decisions.

     

    FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under consultative direction toward pre-determined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Virtually self-supervisory.

     

    IMPACT: Decisions affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to the major objectives of the organization.

     

    LIASON: Serves as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Master's degree and 12 years of related experience OR Bachelors degree and 17 years of related experience

    + Relevant experience must include work within the IC community

    + Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and deliver training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards

    + Demonstrated ability to provide lesson plans, presentations, and curricula in support of educational goals and assigned educational system

    + Reviews emerging policy, doctrine, and feedback for incorporation into training products

    + Develops, maintains, and tracks training records

    CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

    + Possess a current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI polygraph
