    Summary:

    At Meta Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR). As an RF Engineer focused on wireless consumer devices, you will have the opportunity to work on the intricate and complex challenges impacting product design to deliver best in class wireless products. We are looking for a self-driven individual that thrives in a fast paced work environment.

    Required Skills:

    Connectivity RF Hardware Design Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Assist in the design, development and optimization of RF hardware circuits for consumer electronic products

    2. Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of RF performance issues

    3. Conduct RF measurements and testing in the lab to validate and debug issues

    4. Perform RF link budget analysis and debug RF issues in the lab

    5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance is met at component, board and system level

    6. Perform EM simulations using tools like HFSS, ADS to optimize design

    7. Domestic/international travel as needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    8. 2+ years of relevant professional experience

    9. Experience designing RF circuits for cellular/connectivity products and familiarity using RF test equipment

    10. Familiarity with RF schematic and PCB layout best practices and guidelines

    11. Familiarity using EM tools to optimize RF design

    Preferred Qualifications:

    12. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Radio Frequency (RF) circuits or RF system design or Electromagnetics

    13. 3+ years of work experience in designing cellular/connectivity RF hardware solutions for consumer electronics

    14. Experience in cellular/connectivity RF design, optimization and validation

    15. Perform RF/EM simulation in one or more RF and electromagnetic simulation tools such as ADS, Ansys, CST etc

    Public Compensation:

    $111,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
