Summary:
Our team is looking for a Partner Engineering Manager leading full-stack development with an entrepreneurial mindset. As a Partner Engineering Manager, you will lead by building new solutions and enabling Meta’s various product areas and our external partners to realize the full potential of those solutions while also leading and managing a team of Partner Engineers. The team is composed of technology experts that apply their software engineering skills to bring a unique blend of business and technology expertise to ensure our partners succeed. This role will allow you to apply problem solving, leading, and consulting with cross-functional leaders on creating and executing on partner strategy, leading a team of engineers, and growing their careers.Meta's Partner Engineering team is formed of creative problem solvers and strategic software engineers who collaborate with partners to understand their challenges and architect solutions. We are at the cross function of business and engineering helping Meta's partners succeed and reach their business goals with Meta products, by finding technological solutions to meet mutual needs.
Required Skills:
Manager, Partner Engineering, Incubation Responsibilities:
1. Scale the team by attracting and mentoring people at various levels of experience to grow a high-performing team around business and team needs
2. Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams and cross-functional partners to meet business needs
3. Communicate across functions, influence the roadmap and product development
4. Partner with appropriate stakeholders to make ongoing program and project decisions, leverage insights from the team, and make recommendations and/or decisions when issues arise
5. Design and build extensible systems and improve current frameworks that support future projects, including: designing sophisticated launch-plan strategies and shipping production level code focused on long-term maintainability
6. Serve as a technology/business subject matter expert within the team and provide consultation on domain-level projects
7. Bring unique insights from industry, verticals and audience segments to fill a void that exists in our platform
8. Help partners to be successful on the platform through consulting or building both 0 to 1 and scaled solutions
9. Manage team performance, including coaching for career growth, and create a healthy team environment
10. Effectively communicate team goals, seek out information needed for the team to be impactful and provide resources required to achieve goals while removing roadblocks along the way
11. Set clear expectations for all team members, hold them accountable to agreed upon goals, and provide guidance on how it maps to their work
12. Conduct Code reviews and provide thoughtful, meaningful, and constructive feedback
13. Willingness to travel 20% of the time
Minimum Qualifications:

14. 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
15. B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
16. Experience with designing, building, and iterating on scalable AI & agentic software platforms applications and taking products from a nascent state to a level of maturity
17. Experience building consensus within large cross-functional organizations
18. Experience proactively identifying and executing organizational, product improvements across several teams
19. Experience in translating technical concepts into language for audiences, including software engineers, business and technical leaders
20. Experience designing and integrating with APIs
21. Experience developing and effectively managing relationships with external and internal partners

22. Expertise building and leading Agentic AI systems, ad tech, and social media landscape globally
23. Experience working in a startup or similar early stage company
24. Experience managing a distributed team with multiple roles
25. Hands on experience with agile software development methodologies
Public Compensation:
$210,000/year to $285,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
