The Opportunity:
CACI Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate that will provide technical support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Public Warning System (NPWS) Modernization Project. Duties will include monitoring and assisting with the technical aspects related to the shelter fabrication and installation of resilient equipment at FEMA’s Primary Entry Point (PEP) locations. Also, inspect subcontractor deliverables to ensure the NPWS and other sub-systems are installed and ready for use under all conditions. As a team member, you will be working with a wide range of CACI technical and administrative personnel as well as multiple manufacturing and construction subcontractors (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil and structural engineering disciplines). CACI’s NPWS team consists of Program and Project Managers, Operation’s Manager, Integration Team Lead, Engineers, Technicians and other Analysts.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide configuration guidance of broadcast audio equipment, PC-based editing/playback solutions, RF systems, satellite communication systems, fiber-optic transmitters/receivers, and studio mechanical-automation control.
+ Review construction design drawings for accuracy, as well as off er design solutions.
+ Support the deployment of utility and back-up power systems, including generators, transfer systems, breaker panels, and transformers.
+ Review and maintain mechanical fuel systems and related components; fuel storage tanks, pump systems, day-tanks, piping, various valves/fittings, and monitoring systems.
+ Analyze equipment problems to determine best solution.
+ Conduct site visits to inspect and exercise equipment, examine broadcast related site work performed by General Contractors/subs, and train PEP station personnel.
+ Analyze data collected to produce comprehensive reports for the client and CACI Managers.
+ Participate in meetings internally, externally, and with the government contacts as required.
+ Maintain databases of project parts, equipment, and materials for access by Project Manager.
+ Provide timely and accurate reporting.
+ Perform mid to low-level, equipment-specific programming.
+ Assist with maintaining effective control and accountability of all contract government furnished equipment (GFE).
Qualifications:
_Required:_
+ BS Degree in Engineering or 3+ yrs. related technical experience.
+ Information Technology (IT) networking skill and experience
+ Excellent computer software skills; proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
+ Experience with preparing reports related to research, analyses and statistics.
_Desired:_
+ Experience with broadcast audio equipment.
+ Coordinate equipment purchases and resource allocation with subcontractors while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
+ Extensive experience providing administrative support to corporate and/or federal government agencies.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$72,700 - $149,200
