    Essential Functions and Principal Accountabilities:

    Role Responsibility/Time

     

    Quality Assurance and Troubleshooting - 60%

     

    Requirements, scope and estimates - 20%

     

    Internal and external partnerships - 10%

     

    Project coordination - 5%

     

    Development and growth - 5%

     

    + Under direct supervision, assist in supporting multiple projects and systems by performing basic troubleshooting and data analysis.

    + Conduct thorough testing and provide quality assurance support for both existing and newly developed systems.

    + Monitor production system and processes proactively to identify potential issues.

    + Identify and escalate issues according to escalation processes.

    + Track and manage the status of issues using workflow and ticketing systems.

    + Support the tracking and maintenance of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

    + Assist in gathering, compiling and documenting user requirements to support solution development.

    + Act as a liaison between systems development teams and business users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

    + Communicate effectively with leaders, project sponsors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

    + Assist in planning, scheduling and tracking project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

    + Provide on-call support when necessary to support business objectives.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Required

    + Associate Degree in business, management, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience.

    + Ability to understand technical systems development life cycle.

    + Familiarity with requirements development for business or technical projects preferred. Willingness to learn project management techniques, requirement analysis, and business process improvement methodologies.

    + Ability to build relationships and influence people across organizational and functional lines.

    + Ability to learn data models and data querying methods such as SQL.

    + 0-1 years of insurance industry experience.

    + 0-1 years of experience testing custom software applications.

    + 0-1 years of experience developing requirements for custom software applications.

     

    Preferred

     

    + Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, information systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.

    + Experience in project coordination and requirements gathering.

    + Demonstrated ability to achieve business objectives of multiple complex projects or priorities.
